SKIN CANCER SURGERY

- The area is sterilized and a scalpel is used to remove a part of the tissue.
- Thereby, that tissue is checked in the laboratory under a microscope to detect the presence of cancerous cells.
- Only those tissues that are cancerous are removed and that are healthy are spared.
