Pests in the house are no joke. They cause as much irritation as health hazards. These pests can also act as carriers for allergens which irritate people with sensitive medical conditions. The fecal droppings and shed skin of the pests can also become airborne and contaminate the air. Not to forget the bacteria that the pests themselves carry. Some of the most common household pests are cockroaches, rodents, rats, fleas, mosquitoes and ants. All these pests act as carriers for infectious diseases and must be exterminated as many times as possible. The cockroaches, for instance, can slip through any crack in the walls and bring bacteria like salmonella and E.coli with them while the rodents, including the bats, carry salmonella on their bodies leaving a trail of contamination on every surface.
